Rebranding for a casual wine gastrobar

Catavi started as a small family-owned wine shop in Barcelona and has become a wine gastrobar to enjoy exceptional wines and traditional spanish food. As the business evolved, the brand needed a refreshed and modern identity that felt authentic, friendly and unmistakably human. The only client requirement was to mantain the essence of their original logo to ensure brand recognition.

After an extensive research, the aim was to reposition Catavi as a "social club" where good wine and good food foster a sense of community among younger audiences seeking connection and belonging. The creative concept was rooted in bringing back the essence of old times when people gathered around a table to talk, share and enjoy food without distractions or hurry. From this concept, brand strategy was built around authenticity, connection and simplicity. To translate this into a visual and verbal identity, classic style was combined with modern, relaxed vibes that feels human and warm.
